  • Is ragisan.com for parents only?
    This site is for anyone who has a child in their life that they'd like to better connect with. Parents, aunts, uncles, friends, etc. are all invited (and encouraged) to join the village.
  • Is ragisan.com for men only?
    Ragisan is for all parents - both men and women although some content is written from and for a male perspective. Most men would appreciate and enjoy the woman in their life bringing to them a post they’ve read to get their perspective on it as a man. We hope that women will share the material they find interesting on the site with all the dads (and moms) in their life, no matter the relationship.
  • Is Ragisan.com for any specific race?
    Ragisan.com is for all races. Many of the perspectives are written from an African American point of view but are universally applicable. Spending time with people of all backgrounds reveals that our experiences raising children can differ based on many factors (race and culture being just a couple), but those experiences are more similar than not, and common across generations.
  • Your site contains information on just infants and teens – why these two stages of development?
    All stages of a child’s development require attention and commitment from a parent. The infancy and teenage years, however, have profound and unique qualities; the infancy years require a dramatic change to the new parent’s life, and the teenage years involves dramatic changes to the child’s life – both of these stages can leave a parent feeling like they’re on an island. Also, the stages are very much linked, although on the polar ends of development. Often times, the experiences parents have in the teenage years are very much influenced by the experiences during infancy. Parents of infants can see into the future challenges that could be addressed by a firm foundation in certain areas, and parents of teens can see how getting back to some “basics” practiced in earlier years could assist with challenges they’re currently having. And stay tuned – there could be more stages discussed on ragisan.com in the future!
  • How does Ragisan administer survey questions?
    Ragisan uses a 3rd party to survey a diverse group of parents across the US to determine the issues they faced as parents of a particular child development group (e.g infants) and identify through their answers and open comments, potential valuable products and services that could assist ease the transition for the next phase of parents entering that development stage.
  • Is Ragisan a non-profit organization?
    No, Ragisan is a for-profit organization which enables us to be flexible with supporting programs and initiatives we feel are a best benefit to the community, and allows us to be flexible in the enterprises we engage upon to produce revenue. We do not solicit donations and only ask our members and customers to purchase those items that are of value to them.
  • Is there a fee to join the member's area?
    Access to the member's area of the Ragisan Village is free of charge - we want everyone to explore and learn as much as possible.
  • What is the Store House?
    The Storehouse is our collection of physical and digital parenting solutions that have provided solutions to challenges mentioned by parents in recent national and Ragisan surveys. All product orders and fulfillment is handled by our affiliates (clearly marked) and backed by their guarantees. The Village Storehouse helps fund our philanthropic endeavors through affiliate links and marketing. A portion of revenue generated through the Storehouse goes to supporting our community investment pillars (Knowledge, Imagery and Relationships).
  • Do you "mark up" the purchase prices of the items bought through your site?"
    No, purchases made with our affiliates (partners) have no additional costs to you. Affiliate sites instead pay a commission for any purchases through our site.
  • How does Ragisan fulfill orders for items in the store? Is it safe to use my credit card to make purchases?
    All physical orders placed from within our storefront are fulfilled through affiliates such as Amazon and ClickBank. We do not take or store any credit care information on the Ragisan website, but make available the security and convenience of ordering through our trusted affiliates.
  • How does Ragisan make money?
    We generate revenue from commissions paid to us when you purchase products from our affiliates (these commissions are a "thank you" for sending them sales and customers). We do not currently generate revenue though ads placed on our sight.
  • Will new store items be added to the site? If so, when?"
    Yes, new products will be added to the site as we have input from members or the public regarding new products and services which can make parenting easier or make our children safer. The largest revision to the store (items added to removed) will occur based upon feedback from the village through comments or surveys. Although products are listed on our site, they are the actual products of (and fulfilled through) our partners (e.g. Amazon).
  • Can I use Ragisan's trademarks, logos, images or advertising?"
    Ragisan doesn't gratn permission to use or modify trademarks, logos, images, advertising or similar materials.

Returns

We accept returns and exchanges within 30 days following the shipping date. You can return or exchange any unworn, unwashed, or defective merchandise. We do not cover shipping back to Ragisan, but we will gladly exchange your item with another item once we receive it. Contact Us to let us know you want to exchange an item, then we'll provide any additional info needed. No returns/exchanges outside of the U.S.
